To the left, Phillipa is showing everyone how to dance the Zembekiko and below, Marianna gives it a try every now and then.

How does Paskalis perform his special ouzo dance?

He does it while balancing the glass of ouzo on his forehead!  He does the same type of  movements and shows
great skills of balancing and dancing because it has to be done without  the ouzo being dropped or spilled!  At the
end he finishes it like everyone else - sets it on the floor and picks up the glass with his teeth.  Oppa !
What is Ouzo Dance?

The dancer dances around a glass of ouzo that is placed on the floor.
He imitates the way a drunk  would dance - almost falling, but finally
keeping his balance; it can include hops and jumps, gestures
such as dusting off his boots while dancing to Greek music.
The audience is always encouraged to participate, even if you've
never done it, don't worry, Paskalis will show you how to do it.
This is the Drunken Sailor Dance! At the end the dancer gets on
his knees,or lays on the floor and picks up the glass of ouzo with
his teeth and drinks it up!

So now you know how to do it, so next time don't be shy !
As you see, it's not only for men, but ladies and little ones also
participate (of course children drink water, instead of ouzo)
